Beers & Bad Questions: Phil Ramskill
Beers & Bad Questions: Phil Ramskill

Welcome to Beers & Bad Questions!

Phil Ramskill is the creative genius behind cult favourite Knobby designs like Gotta Be Squidding and Locals Only. This month he delivered another absolute banger with a design dedicated to our canine companions who work selflessly to keep us safe, save lives, and to bring comfort. For the launch of Barking Mad we sat down with Phil over a beer to ask him some seriously bad questions.

Where do you hail from?

Gold Coast, Australia

What was your inspiration for the Barking Mad design?

My aim for this design is really just a strong association for dogs so people will see it, see their favourite breed or just like dogs, and want to get it.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

Cats, because they are Cats.

Which body part do you wish you could detach and why?

I'd detach my tongue, you could put in people's drinks and give them a real spooking.

What sport would be the funniest to add a mandatory amount of alcohol to?

Something harmless, like formula one racing.

If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

I once touched a monkey through the bars at a zoo and got yelled at by a zookeeper, but everyone knows I would do it again.

What is your spirit animal?

A gibbon, I'm more goofy than majestic.
