The artwork is inspired by the water that is all around us and a place where we gather. The colours reflect the ocean’s blue walls and sandy floors as well as soft purples and pinks seen over the water at sunrise and sunset.
The larger dots and thicker lines represent the elders, or the people we look up to who are full of knowledge and we gain inspiration from. The smaller dots are for the people still learning.
