Giddy up, we’ve saddled up something a little different this month. Meet Roo-tin n Tootin’, our latest release that’s part Aussie bush, part Wild West, and all Knobby fun. It’s a ride through dusty paddocks, cactus gardens, and kangaroo rodeos with a little something extra in your parcel to keep the adventure going.
Inspiration
Designed in-house by the wildly talented Phil Ramskill, this month’s print tips its hat to classic cowboy comics and vintage rodeo posters, with an unmistakable Aussie twist. Think cowpokes swapping out their horses for kangaroos, Outback homesteads under blazing skies, and a whole cast of creatures you might (or might not) meet in the bush. Our inspiration came from the bold colours, dynamic poses, and playful chaos of old-school pulp illustrations, but with Knobby’s signature cheek and originality stitched right in.
Design
From lasso-wielding wranglers riding roos to stockmen herding wild bulls, every detail of this print tells a story. The layered backgrounds are alive with cactus clusters, boab trees, windmills, and critters hiding in plain sight. We’ve created two colourways, a dusty khaki base for our BottleBlend and a fiery rust red for our Naturals range, both bringing the action to life in their own way. Every scene loops seamlessly across the fabric, meaning there’s always something new to spot.
Production
Like all our Undies, Roo-tin’ N Tootin’ isn’t just about looking good, it’s made to feel amazing too. The BottleBlend range is crafted from recycled plastic bottles, spun into an ultra-soft, moisture-wicking fabric that’s planet-friendly without skimping on comfort. The Naturals range features a breathable bamboo blend that’s luxuriously soft and kind to your skin.
