Inspiration
Created by the brilliant Jamile Brown, the mind behind our fan-favourite Mango Tango design (Below Left), Pulp Friction is his fresh take on tropical fun, this time swapping mangoes for pineapples with attitude.
Inspired by long summer days, saltwater skin, and that first sip of something fruity, this collection brings Jamile’s signature hand-drawn style to life in wearable, punchy prints that scream “good times only.”
Each pineapple in this piece has its own personality, some wearing shades, some soaking up rays, and all rocking that Knobby confidence. Add in bright cocktails, cherries, and leopard-textured backdrops, and you’ve got yourself a wearable holiday.
About the Artist: Jamie Browne
If you’ve ever spotted a t-shirt that made you laugh, double-take, or feel like you were on holiday, there’s a good chance Jamie Browne had something to do with it.
Born and raised on the sunny shores of Australia, Jamie’s art has become synonymous with coastal culture, surf life, and tongue-in-cheek fun. His work blends vintage surf nostalgia with contemporary pop energy. all brought to life through his iconic hand-drawn linework and unmistakable sense of humour.
From surfboards to apparel collabs around the globe, Jamie’s creations have carved out a unique corner of Aussie art that’s equal parts laid-back and full of life, much like Knobby itself.
