Knobby’s Around the World journey continues with Kiwiana, a celebration of New Zealand packed with some of the country’s most recognisable icons, all given the unmistakable Sindy Sinn treatment.
Kiwis, silver ferns, sheep, rugby balls, Māori-inspired motifs, volcanic landscapes and a few unmistakably Kiwi extras collide in a print that feels like New Zealand turned all the way up.
Designed once again by Australian illustrator Sindy Sinn, Kiwiana is the next passport stamp in our Around the World series.

There’s a lot more to New Zealand than sheep and rugby. But we weren’t exactly going to leave either off the moodboard.
Kiwiana takes the familiar symbols of Aotearoa and throws them together in one seriously packed print.
There are kiwi birds, silver ferns and sheep. Rugby balls, mountain peaks and volcanic shapes. Traditional-inspired motifs, native flora and plenty of little details that feel unmistakably New Zealand.
And naturally, there’s enough hidden throughout the artwork to keep you spotting something new every time you look.
Set in black, white and grey, the monochrome palette gives the design a bold, graphic feel while still letting all those packed-in details do the talking.
Meet the Artist: Sindy Sinn
If the style looks familiar, there’s a good reason.
Sindy Sinn is back for another stop on our Around the World tour.
The Australian illustrator and mural artist brings his signature mix of bold graphics, nostalgic iconography and densely packed details to New Zealand for Kiwiana.
This time, Sindy has built a visual checklist of the animals, landscapes, sporting culture and familiar symbols that make New Zealand instantly recognisable.
Look once and you’ll spot the kiwi.
Look again and you might find a sheep, a rugby ball, a silver fern or another tiny detail hiding amongst the chaos.
That’s half the fun of a Sindy Sinn print there’s always something else hiding in there.
