The Seabin Project strives to be a leader in inspiring change, driving a direct, positive impact on our marine life and environments through its technology and community education programs.

The severity of plastic creation and waste on our marine ecosystems need not be underplayed. At Knobby, we're acknowledging this through our own practises, such as BottleBlend™.

Over 160 million tons of plastic is produced each year to create single-use disposable items and packaging. As there is no established mitigation measure in place to curb this unsustainable practise, over 70 years of plastics and micro-plastics have accumulated in landfill (40%) and the environment (32%), with only 10% actually being recycled. 

Just $1 removes 1.2kg of plastic and debris from the sea.

Seabin Smart Tech, similar to a domestic pool skimmer, removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants. This is invaluable in stemming the flow of waste into our waterways.
