Inspiration
Dreamed up and hand-painted by Melanie Lang, our very own Knobby Product Manager, Aussie Pops celebrates the unspoken heroes of the Australian summer, the ice blocks and ice creams that made every beach trip, backyard hangout, and school holiday unforgettable.
Inspired by vintage Aussie ice block posters and corner store menus, each piece drips with nostalgia. Inspiration came from favourites like Bubble O’ Bill, Paddle Pops, Sunnyboys, Frosty Fruits, and that one stick you fought your sibling for because it had “the perfect swirl.”
The colours are bold, the shapes are familiar, and the vibe is straight-up sweet. It’s summer on fabric, playful, sticky, and impossible not to smile at.

Between designing your favourite Knobby fits and running the product show, Melanie Lang picked up a paintbrush and turned pure nostalgia into wearable art.
Design
Aussie Pops is all about those sweet memories, visual candy scattered across a dreamy blue-purple base that feels like chilled concrete after a day in the sun.
Each illustrated pop, from the red-and-yellow rocket to the choc-coated classics, brings back the golden days of summer holidays. No overthinking, no cooling off indoors. Just drips, giggles, and one too many trips to the servo freezer.
