Stacked, Saucy & Seriously Good

We recently unleashed our tasty Fewd Dudes drop into Undie Drawers around the world!

Now it’s time to step into the kitchen with Daniel Rankin (@mancancooknz) & cook up a delectable Double Beef & Cheese Burger with Animal Style Fries. Try to resist drooling all over your screen.

Ingredients:

  • 2 beef patties (500g minced beef)
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • Pickles
  • Lettuce
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4-5 potatoes, sliced into fries
  • Salt, to taste

Animal Style Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fries:

Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan. Fry the potato slices until golden and crispy. Drain and season with salt.

      2. Caramelize the Onions:

Melt butter in a pan and add the sliced onions. Cook on low heat until golden and caramelized.

      3. Make the Sauce:

Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Adjust to taste.

      4. Cook the Patties:

Season the beef patties with salt and sear in a hot pan until cooked to your liking. Add cheese slices and cover to melt.

      5. Assemble the Burger:

Toast the brioche buns, then layer with animal-style sauce, lettuce, pickles, beef patties, caramelized onions, and more sauce.

      6. Serve with Fries:

Pile the fries on the side, drizzle with more sauce, and enjoy.
